Smoore International Holdings' H1 Profit Falls 5%; Shares Slide 5%

Smoore International Holdings' (HKG:6969) profit fell 4.8% to 683.2 million yuan in the first half from 717.3 million yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Monday filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Earnings per share at the vaping products maker decreased to 0.1111 yuan from 0.1163 yuan in the previous year. Analysts polled by Visible Alpha expected EPS of 0.12 yuan.

Revenue declined 1.7% to 5.04 billion yuan from 5.12 billion yuan a year earlier. Analysts forecast revenue of 5.13 billion yuan.

The company declared an interim dividend of HK$0.05 per share, payable Sept. 23 to shareholders on record as of Sept. 9.

Shares fell almost 5% in Tuesday's morning trading.
