Mercury NZ (ASX:MCY, NZE:MCY) reported Tuesday that its earnings per share in the 12-month period ended June 30 rose to NZ$0.2085, compared with the restated NZ$0.0811 in the prior-year period.
Attributable net profit was NZ$290 million, a surge of 159% from NZ$112 million a year ago.
Total revenue was NZ$3.42 billion, up over 25% from NZ$2.73 billion in the same period last year.
The renewable energy company declared an interim dividend of NZ$0.14 per share with a record date of Sept. 12 payable on Sept. 30.
