Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt (SHA:603799) posted a first-half net profit attributable to shareholders of 1.67 billion yuan, or 1 yuan per share, down from 2.09 billion yuan, or 1.32 yuan per share, the previous year.
The cobalt producer's operating income declined year over year to 30.05 billion yuan from 33.35 billion yuan, according to a filing with the Shanghai bourse.
Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt shares rose 4% in recent Tuesday trade.
