J&T Global Express Swings to Profit in H1 as Revenue Surges 21%

J&T Global Express (HKG:1519) recorded a profit attributable to owners of $27.6 million for the six months ended June 30 against a loss of $641.0 million recorded for the first half of 2023, a Monday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange said.

The company saw earnings per share of $0.003 for the reporting period, against a loss of $0.222 per share for the last year's period.

The logistics company's revenue for the first half of this year came in at $4.86 billion, 20.6% higher than the $4.03 billion logged for the same period last year, due to an increase in revenue from its express delivery services in 13 countries.

The company's shares were up over 6% on Monday's close.
