Kinetic Development Group's H1 Profit Rises as Revenue Surges 70%

Kinetic Development Group's (HKG:1277) attributable profit rose to 1.10 billion yuan in the first half from 570.2 million yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Monday filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Earnings per share at the coal company increased to 0.13 yuan from 0.0676 yuan in the previous year.

Revenue grew 70% to 2.53 billion yuan from 1.49 billion yuan a year earlier.

The company declared an interim dividend of HK$0.04 per share, payable Nov. 14 to shareholders on record as of Sept. 5.

Shares fell 2% during Tuesday's afternoon trading.
