CWD Bags INR1 Billion Deal to Develop Sound Box Devices for PhonePe; CWD Shares Soar 20%

IT firm CWD (BOM:543378) secured a deal worth 1 billion Indian rupees from fintech company PhonePe to design, develop and manufacture Sound Box for two years, according to a press release filed with the Indian bourses on Monday.

Sound Box is a device that provides instant audio alerts on accepting digital payments.

Shares of CWD surged 20% in recent trade.
