U-Haul Launches $500 Million Debt Offering; Shares Fall After Hours

U-Haul Holding (UHAL) said late Thursday it launched a $500 million private placement of four tranches of fixed-rate senior unsecured notes.

Three tranches total $100 million each, while the fourth tranche amounts to $200 million.

The company's shares were down 3% in after-hours activity.
