Global Lithium Resources (ASX:GL1) received notices from shareholder Sincerity Development requesting the company to hold a shareholder meeting to consider proposed board changes, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
Sincerity Development, deemed a "substantial" shareholder owning a 6.93% stake, seeks the appointment of its controlling shareholder Liaoliang Zhu, the filing said. It is also urging the company to limit the number of board directors to three.
The disclosure comes after the Western Australian lithium company received an "invalid" notice from Sincerity, the filing said.
