CGN Mining (HKG:1164) reported a profit attributable to the owners of HK$113.1 million for the first half of 2024, down 37% from HK$179.7 million the previous year, according to a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
Earnings per share were HK$0.0149, compared with HK$0.0236 in the year-ago period.
Revenue for the first half, however, rose 39% to HK$4.07 billion from HK$2.93 billion in the prior-year period.
The company declared an interim dividend of HK$0.003.
The mining company's shares were up by almost 1% in recent trading.
