Oil and gas producer AXP Energy (ASX:AXP) will expand its in-situ power generation activities at the Pathfinder Field in Colorado, citing the growing demand for off-grid power services in the US.
The expansion will involve establishing infrastructure at the Pathfinder 2 site and expanding power generation activities to the Amerigo Vespucci well site, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
"Our immediate objective is to reliably produce [about 1,500 kilowatt-hours] of power from the first two wells, lock in our first customers, and then build out the field from here," said Director Andrew Bald.
