Zengame Technology Holding (HKG:2660) saw a decline in attributable profit for the six months ended June 30 to 309.8 million yuan from 404.8 million yuan during the year-ago period, a Thursday bourse filing said.
Earnings per share stood at 0.3007 yuan during the interim period, down from 0.3956 yuan in H1 2023.
Revenue for the mobile games developer fell by 8.2% to 934.3 million yuan in the first half from 1.02 billion yuan a year prior.
The company attributed the lower revenue mainly to a decrease in the number of paying users for its board and card games and a decrease in monthly average revenue per paying user.
Shares of the company closed nearly 2% higher on Thursday.
