Reach Resources (ASX:RR1) identified new high-priority targets prospective for niobium and rare earth elements at its Wabli Creek project in Western Australia after completing mapping and sampling works, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian Securities Exchange.
The company conducted detailed mapping and sampling of the project geology, including three alkaline igneous formations, pegmatites, and granite complexes, focusing on the intersection of priority geochemical targets and the margins of a late-stage intrusive feature, the filing said.
Rock chip samples and hand specimens have been collected for laboratory analysis and study of their composition, texture, and structure to determine a proposed drill program before the end of the year, according to the company.
