Delta Lithium Gets Regulatory Approval for Underground Mining in Western Australia

Delta Lithium (ASX:DLI) received approval from the Department of Energy, Mines, Industry, Regulation, and Safety for underground mining in the Baldock area of the Mt. Ida gold project in Western Australia, the miner said in a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Delta received approval from the agency for its stage one mining proposal in October 2023. The plan included open-pit mining at Baldock, the construction of a Waste Rock Landform, building infrastructure, and expanding camp facilities, it said.

Shares of Delta Lithium fell more than 2% in recent Tuesday trade.
