Heramba Electric (PITA) said Tuesday its Kiepe Electric unit signed a $26 million battery upgrade agreement with King County Metro in Seattle to provide the in-motion charging technology for electric trolley buses.
Deliveries under the three-year deal are expected later this year, the company said.
Kiepe will also offer on-site service support for up to five years, beginning this year, Heramba said.
The company's shares were down 2.1% in recent trading.
