Ellipsiz Swings to Loss in Fiscal H2; Shares Up 4%

Ellipsiz (SGX:BIX) booked a loss attributable to owners of SG$3.0 million in the six months ended June 30, compared with an attributable profit of SG$742,000 in the year-ago period, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Monday.

Loss per share came in at SG$0.0180 per share, versus EPS of SG$0.0045 per share in the year-ago period.

Revenue was down 3% year over year to SG$30.0 million from SG$30.8 million, mainly due to lower sales of consumables.

Despite the losses, the company declared a final cash dividend of SG$0.01 per share, same as the year-ago period's dividend.

Shares of semiconductors and electronics manufacturer were up over 4% in recent trading.
