Capital World Swings to Loss in Fiscal H2, Reports Negative Revenue

Capital World (SGX:1D5) booked a net loss attributable to owners of 68.9 million ringgit for the half ended June 30, compared with a net profit attributable of 50.2 million ringgit in the year-ago period, a filing with the Singapore Exchange said on Monday.

Loss per share came in at 0.0045 ringgit per share from earnings per share of 0.0035 ringgit per share in the comparable period.

The company reported a negative revenue of 4.7 million ringgit during the reporting period, compared with a negative revenue of 3.8 million ringgit a year earlier.
