Guotai Junan International Holdings (HKG:1788) recorded a 63% rise in attributable profit for the six months ended June 30 to HK$194.9 million from HK$119.4 million during the year-ago period, a Monday bourse filing stated.
Earnings per share were HK$0.0204 in the first half, up from HK$0.0125 in the corresponding period of 2023.
The securities broker's revenue rose by 41% to HK$2.17 billion during the interim period from HK$1.54 billion a year prior.
The company has declared an interim dividend of around HK$0.012 per ordinary share, payable Sept. 30 to shareholders of record on Sept. 13.
