Fu Shou Yuan International Group's H1 Profit Plunges on Lower Revenue

Fu Shou Yuan International Group's (HKG:1448) attributable profit plunged to 298.8 million yuan in the first half from 464.7 million yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Friday filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Earnings per share at the burial and funeral services company decreased to 0.132 yuan from 0.205 yuan in the previous year.

Revenue declined to 1.10 billion yuan from 1.52 billion yuan a year earlier.

The company declared an interim dividend of HK$0.0638 per share, payable Oct. 31 to shareholders on record as of Oct. 18.

Shares closed 12% lower on Monday.
