China CSSC Holdings' (SHA:600150) unit, Jiangnan Shipyard (Group), agreed to build six 150,000-cubic-meter ethane carriers for Singapore-based Eastern Pacific Shipping, according to a Wednesday filing on the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
The details of the payment was not disclosed in the filing.
The Chinese shipbuilder will deliver the ships by 2027, the filing said.
Shares of the company rose more than 1% in recent trade.
