Apollo Minerals (ASX:AON) generated targets from recent exploration activities at the Salanie project in Gabon, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
The program identified a small-scale mining site, named Binda Target, as well as visible gold at the A1 prospect returning with up to 0.9 meters at 22.3 grams per tonne grade of gold, the filing said.
The results will be used to support an ongoing drill program for the project, the miner added.
Shares of Apollo Minerals rose 4% in recent trade.
