CMOC Group's H1 Profit Surges 670% as Revenue Jumps 19%

CMOC Group's (HKG:3993, SHA:603993) attributable profit rose 670% to 5.42 billion yuan in the first half from 703.1 million yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Friday filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Earnings per share at the mining company increased 733% to 0.25 yuan from 0.03 yuan in the previous year.

Operating revenue grew 19% to 102.8 billion yuan from 86.7 million yuan a year earlier.

Shares closed 4% higher in Hong Kong and 3% higher in Shanghai during Monday trading.
