East Buy Holding's H1 Profit Jumps as Revenue Rises

East Buy Holding's (HKG:1797) attributable profit rose to 1.72 billion yuan in the first half from 971.3 million yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Friday filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Earnings per share at the online education company increased to 1.61 yuan from 0.91 yuan in the previous year.

Revenue grew to 7.07 billion yuan from 4.51 billion yuan a year earlier.

Shares closed 6% higher on Monday.
