Chengxin Lithium Group Swings to H1 Loss as Operating Income Falls 46%

Chengxin Lithium Group (SHE:002240) swung to an attributable loss of 186.9 million yuan in the first half from a profit of 611.4 million yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Friday filing with the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.

The battery materials supplier swung to a loss per share of 0.20 yuan from EPS of 0.67 yuan in the previous year.

Operating income declined 46% to 2.58 billion yuan from 4.76 billion yuan a year earlier.

Shares closed 2% higher during Friday trading.
