China Nonferrous Mining's (HKG:1258) attributable profit rose 18% to $219.1 million in the first half from $185.7 million in the year-ago period, according to a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
Earnings per share at the miner increased 16% to $0.0575 from $0.0497 in the previous year.
Revenue grew 9% to $2.01 billion from $1.84 billion a year earlier.
Shares jumped 1% during Friday's afternoon trading.
