Sany Heavy Industry's H1 Profit Rises 5%, Operating Income Slips 2%

Sany Heavy Industry's (SHA:600031) attributable profit rose 4.8% to 3.57 billion yuan in the first half from 3.41 billion yuan, after adjustments, in the year-ago period, according to a Friday filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

Earnings per share at the Chinese heavy machinery company increased 5% to 0.4224 yuan from 0.4024 yuan in the previous year.

Operating income declined 2% to 38.7 billion yuan from 39.5 billion yuan a year earlier.
