Black Sesame International Holding (HKG:2533) recorded a profit attributable to equity holders of 1.10 billion yuan for the six months ended June 30, against an attributable loss of 3.73 billion yuan logged for the corresponding period last year, a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange said.
Loss per share attributable to equity holders stood at 1.7 yuan for the reporting period, compared to 52.5 yuan recorded for the year-ago period.
The system-on-chip-based intelligent vehicle solution provider's revenue for the first half of this year was 180.1 million yuan, 69.2% higher than 106.5 million yuan booked a year ago. The company attributed the increase in revenue to a growth in sales of its autonomous driving products and solutions.
