Huaneng Power International's H1 Attributable Profit Jumps 20%

Huaneng Power International's (HKG:0902) attributable profit rose 20% to 7.77 billion yuan in the first half from 6.49 billion yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Earnings per share at the Chinese power company increased to 0.40 yuan from 0.32 yuan in the previous year.

Operating revenue grew 5.7% to 118.8 billion yuan from 126.0 billion yuan a year earlier.
