IHH Healthcare Books 107% Jump in Q2 Profit as Revenue Surges 30%

IHH Healthcare (SGX:Q0F, KLSE:IHH) booked a 107% increase in profit attributable to shareholders to 623.0 million ringgit in the second quarter from 301.0 million ringgit in the year-ago period, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Thursday.

Earnings per share came in at 0.0707 ringgit compared with 0.0343 ringgit a year earlier.

Revenue surged 30% to 6.10 billion ringgit from 4.67 billion ringgit in the year-ago period, which the company attributed to "a sustained demand for quality healthcare services."
