Yunkang Group (HKG:2325) swung to an attributable loss of 126.1 million yuan in the first half from a profit of 48.7 million yuan in the year-ago period.
The diagnostic testing company posted a loss per share of 0.21 yuan, reversing earnings per share of 0.08 yuan in the previous year.
Revenue declined 20% to 379.9 million yuan from 476.9 million yuan a year earlier, according to a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
Shares closed 3% higher during Thursday's trading.
