China Railway Signal & Communication's H1 Profit Slips 12%, Operating Income Down 14%; Shares Fall 3%

China Railway Signal & Communication (HKG:3969, SHA:688009) booked a net profit attributable to shareholders of 1.60 billion yuan in the first half of the year, down 12.3% from 1.82 billion yuan a year earlier, according to a Wednesday filing on the Hong Kong stock exchange.

Earnings per share fell to 0.15 yuan from 0.17 yuan last year.

The Chinese securities company's revenue fell 14.3% to 14.3 billion yuan from 16.6 billion yuan in the previous year, the filing said.

Shares of the company fell more than 2% in Shanghai and nearly 3% in Hong Kong recently.
