Lithium Australia Subsidiary Signs Battery Recycling Deal with BYD Subsidiary

Lithium Australia (ASX:LIT) subsidiary, Envirostream Australia, entered into a three-year battery recycling agreement with the automotive subsidiary of BYD (HKG:1211, SHE:002594), BYD Auto Industry Company, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian Securities Exchange.

The agreement offers a two-year extension option and includes a service fee for the collection of BYD Auto's end-of-life lithium-iron-phosphate batteries, the filing said.
