Asia Television Holdings' Subsidiary to Pay HK$3 Million Plus Interest to Plaintiff

Asia Television Holdings' (HKG:0707) subsidiary Asia Television Limited was ordered by the High Court of Hong Kong to pay HK$3 million plus interest to China Trends Holdings, the plaintiff, within 56 days of the hearing held on Sept. 3, a Tuesday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange said.

The plaintiff had claimed against the defendant for damages without specifying the amount of damages claimed in pleadings, a sum of HK$3 million plus interest and costs.

The company's shares closed over 3% lower on Wednesday.
