China Ruyi Holdings Books Narrower Loss in H1 as Revenue Balloons 129%

China Ruyi Holdings (HKG:0136) recorded a loss attributable to equity holders of 114.7 million yuan for the six months ended June 30, narrower than 262.3 million yuan logged for the corresponding period last year, a Friday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange said.

Loss per share attributable to equity holders stood at 0.0098 yuan for the reporting period, compared to 0.0262 yuan recorded for the year-ago period.

The digital content producer's revenue for the first half of this year was 1.84 billion yuan, 129% higher than 804.1 million yuan booked a year ago.

The company's shares were down over 3% on Monday's close.
