Golden Deeps (ASX:GED) encountered an 80-meter mineral zone from a recent drill program at the Havilah project in New South Wales, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The zone contains semi-massive zinc and copper sulfides with yields of up to 34.8% zinc and 18.5% copper based on a portable x-ray fluorescence scan, the miner said in the filing.
Shares of Golden Deeps surged 200% in early afternoon trade Tuesday.
