True North Copper (ASX:TNC) finds surface copper mineralization from a recent rock chip sampling program conducted at the Aquila and Ivena North prospects within the Mt Oxide project in Queensland, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The program identified multiple channels at the prospect sites with yields of up to 1.38% copper, the miner said in the filing.
Shares of True North Copper jumped 9% in recent trade.
