Roblox Partners With Shopify So Creators Can Sell Physical Merch -- Market Talk

1339 ET - Roblox announces a partnership with Shopify at its annual developer conference, part of the videogame company's strategy for achieving its long-term goal of reaching 1 billion daily users, up from 79.5 million today. Roblox says it plans to next year let makers of the games that populate its platform sell physical merchandise within their creations. Shopify is the first commerce company that Roblox has teamed up with to support such transactions. Other announcements include a new user-referral program for creators, influencers and studios and the option for creators to earn more revenue by offering paid access to their games in real currency on desktop.
