BOC Hong Kong (Holdings) (HKG:2388) reintroduced rebates for home mortgages in anticipation of an interest rate cut, The Standard reported Thursday, citing local media outlet HK01.

The lender will give out 0.1% of new loans above HK$1 million, 0.2% for loans above HK$2 million, and 0.25% for loans exceeding HK$10 million, the report said.

BOC Hong Kong will also look into other factors such as the loan amount and client-lender relationship as they review rebate applications, according to the news outlet.
