BYD (HKG:1211, SHE:002594) denied reports that it has postponed its plans to establish a factory in Mexico, Reuters reported Tuesday.
The statement made by BYD Americas head Stella Li came after Bloomberg reported that the Chinese automobile maker suspended the plan and would announce a new plan after the US elections in November.
Most recently, Li said cars to be produced in the Mexican plant will be sold domestically, Reuters reported.
