Kalamazoo Resources (ASX:KZR) started a review of its discovery of a broad epizonal gold-antimony mineralization at the South Muckleford gold project in Victoria due to increased interest in antimony as a critical metal, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian Securities Exchange.

The company discovered the gold-antimony mineralized system at Fentiman's and Smith's Reefs prospects during a systematic exploration program conducted between 2020 and 2021, the filing said.

Plans are underway to conduct 3D structural geology modeling, geochemical vectoring investigations, and targeting exercises to identify extensional or deeper targets along defined reef structures, according to the company.

Shares rose more than 1% in afternoon trading.
