Strategic Energy Resources Advances Exploration at New South Wales Project; Shares Fall 5%

Strategic Energy Resources (ASX:SER) advanced exploration activities at the West Koonenberry project in New South Wales, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

The mining firm completed an airborne survey at the project, with land access for a surface mapping program now secured, the filing said.

Further, the company joined forces with the government scientific arm Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization via the Kick Start program to investigate the viability of the project to contain a copper, cobalt, and platinum group elements deposit, as per the filing.

Company shares fell almost 5% in recent Monday trade.
