Indonesia's Consumer Confidence Index edged up to 124.4 in August from 123.4 in July, indicating that consumer optimism has improved during the month, according to a Monday release from Bank Indonesia.
The central bank attributed the rise to a stronger Current Economic Condition Index (CECI) and a solid Consumer Expectation Index (CEI).
