Asian Equities Traded in the US as American Depositary Receipts Trend Higher in Thursday Trading

Asian equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts were moving higher Thursday morning, rising 0.41% to 1,930.84 on the S&P Asia 50 ADR Index.

From North Asia, the gainers were led by online game developer The9 (NCTY) and travel company Tuniu (TOUR), which rose 5.8% and 4.4% respectively. They were followed by social network JOYY (YY) and internet and data center operator VNET Group (VNET), which were up 1.6% and 1.4% respectively.

The decliners from North Asia were led by pet-focused platform Boqii (BQ) and financial services company Dunxin Financial (DXF), which dropped 11% and 9.8% respectively. They were followed by electric vehicle maker NIO (NIO) and biotech firm BeiGene (BGNE), which lost 7.1% and 6.6% respectively.

From South Asia, the gainers were led by tech conglomerate Sea (SE) and IT firm Wipro (WIT), which increased 2.5% and 2.4% respectively. They were followed by financial services company ICICI Bank (IBN) and IT firm Infosys (INFY), which were up 1.2% and 1.1% respectively.

The decliners from South Asia were led by IT firm Sify Technologies (SIFY), which lost 2.8%, followed by telecommunications operators PLDT (PHI) and Telekomunikasi Indonesia (TLK), which were off 0.6% each.
