Twist Bioscience's Oregon Site Gets LEED Certification for Sustainable Operations

Twist Bioscience (TWST) said its facility in Wilsonville, Oregon, was awarded the US Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification for reaching sustainability standards for its building, operations and maintenance.

With the certification at the site "where we manufacture our genes and synbio products, we can provide our customers with DNA made using fewer chemical reagents in a facility that upholds the LEED standards of sustainability," Twist Chief Executive Officer Emily Leproust said Thursday in a statement.
