CGN Power to Redeem 1 Billion Yuan Ultra-Short-Term Bonds; Hong Kong Shares Up 3%

CGN Power (HKG:1816, SHE:003816) will redeem 1 billion yuan of ultra-short-term bonds on Sept. 23, according to a Friday disclosure on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.

The 169-day bonds, which were issued on April 3, have a 2% interest rate, the Chinese nuclear power provider said.

Shares of the company jumped less than 3% on the Hong Kong bourse and rose more than 2% on the Shenzhen bourse.
