Stocks to Watch: Exicure, Volato Group, Canoo

Exicure entered debt-for-equity exchange agreements with two promissory notes holders. The Chicago biopharmaceuticals company agreed to issue 237,233 shares of its common stock to DGP, as well as 101,991 shares of its common stock to an individual promissory note holder. Both deals represent a conversion price of $3 a share. Shares surge 78%, to $2.85, in Friday's after-hours trading.

Volato said that Honda Aircraft Co. has terminated its fleet purchase agreement. The private-jet ownership and flight-charters company after the bell on Friday said the fleet purchase agreement included the acquisition from Honda Aircraft of 23 HondaJet HA-420 aircraft for $161.6 million. The delivery dates had been set between the fiscal fourth quarter of 2023 and the fiscal fourth quarter of 2025. Shares fall 7%, to 45 cents, in postmarket trading.

Canoo withdrew its 2024 revenue guidance along with guidance relating to its manufacturing run rate, production and delivery of vehicles in 2024 and subsequent periods. The electric vehicle company after the bell said it is expecting third-quarter revenue between $100,000 and $1.2 million, as well as negative Ebitda between $30 million and $40 million. Shares fall 3.2%, to $1.21, in after-hours trading.
