Australian Vanadium Completes Factory Testing of Vanadium Flow Battery for Western Australian Energy Provider

Australian Vanadium completed factory acceptance testing of a 220-kilowatt-hour vanadium flow battery to be installed at a Horizon Power site in Western Australia, according to a Monday filing with the Australian Securities Exchange.

The battery contains vanadium electrolyte manufactured by the company at its Perth electrolyte manufacturing facility. Energy provider Horizon Power purchased the battery for a long-duration energy storage project, the filing said.
