Tenon Medical (TNON) disclosed late Thursday that it is planning an initial launch in early Q4 of its new joint fusion system that offers a 30% reduction in implant size.
The company said the Catamaran SE SI Joint Fusion system extends the line of implant offerings for physicians preferring a smaller Catamaran implant when performing an SI joint fusion procedure.
The new SI joint fixation device offers a 30% reduction in implant width compared with the original Catamaran fixation device, the company said.
The "alpha launch" in Q4 will provide initial feedback from a select group of physicians to support a broader market launch in the coming months, the company added.
