KKR to Buy 11.6 Million Shares of BrightSpring From Walgreens

BrightSpring Health Services (BTSG) said Friday that 11.6 million of its shares will be bought by current investor KKR (KKR) from Walgreens Boots Alliance (WBA).

The deal was negotiated directly between KKR and Walgreens, and KKR is making the investment via its private equity funds, BrightSpring said.

The deal is expected to close around Monday.
