Prudential (SGX:K6S, HKG:2378) repurchased 1,498,932 shares in London at an average price of about 6.23 pounds sterling per share on Friday, according to a Monday filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
The filing said that upon cancellation of the purchased shares, the company will have 2,717,668,312 shares in issue.
