Octava Minerals Finds High-Grade Antimony Mineralization at Western Australia Project; Shares Surge 94%

Octava Minerals (ASX:OCT) discovered antimony mineralization during a review of drilling data at the Yallalong project in Western Australia, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian Securities Exchange.

Historic drilling at the Discovery prospect yielded high-grade antimony intersections, including three meters at 6.83% antimony from 21 meters and seven meters at 3.27% antimony from 12 meters, with indications that the mineralization is open in several directions, the filing said.

The mining firm submitted a program of works to relevant regulators with exploration expected to start in the coming quarter.

Shares of Octavia Minerals surged 94% in midday trade Tuesday.
